New Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL

I'm sure there are already a lot of people that know about the new Nintendo 3DS that's supposed to be coming out anytime now. Nintendo decided that they were going to release a new DS for a better gaming experience and although there aren't a lot of visual differences there are quite a few internal upgrades.

On the outside of the original DS Nintendo added an analog stick for a better control, although they did keep this great feature on the new model, they also added a mini one cleverly placed right above the x button on the right side of the DS. With that said, you can also see that the speakers on the upper screen are arranged
differently than the original 3DS. There are also 2 new shoulder buttons on both sides of the device, which Nintendo deems useful, but I'm not so sure many gamers are going to be using them unless necessary. There are a lot of people saying that the new handhelds are going to be much larger, but, with the Nintendos latest sneak peeks, the new 3ds is going to be about 5mm larger than the original one.

Of course with all new popular technology Nintendo claims longer battery life, but for how long? The new 3DS will have the same 3DS screen but they have allowed it, while on 3D mode, to be viewed from more
angles. They also improved the cpu speed, for faster lag free gaming experiences. One of the most exciting bits of this new arrival is the new amiibo compatible screen. The newer games will include the amiibo toys to place on the screen of the 3DS to place a character inside the game. If you've ever played Skylanders with the "Portal of Power" this is basically what it is. One of the latest games that has already been integrated to come with these amiibo toys is the new Super Smash Bros but of course you need the new 3DS for that. The release date was October 11th in Japan, but there hasn't been a scheduled date for the U.S. But I wouldn't get to excited because there are already people complaining about the handheld being over exaggerated.

If they really want to get the DS lovers excited and buying the new console they need to follow this concept art! Made by Olivier Demangel, a professional graphic designer who created this concept art for later Nintendo 3DS upgrades.

*PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE REAL 3DS. THIS ONLY CONCEPT ART*
